Biography: Liliana
Salazar, Esq.
Director of Compliance, ABD
Professional Highlights:
Liliana
joined ABD in 1997. Her
current responsibilities include overseeing ABD’s Compliance Department
that consists of ten dedicated individuals in four of our California
offices. Liliana drafts customized Summary Plan Descriptions, Plan
Documents, and Summaries of Material Modifications for Welfare and
Fringe Plans, as well as conduct compliance audits of Welfare and
Fringe Plans to determine their conformity with federal and state
regulations. Liliana also assists ABD’s clients in the private and
public sector with design, implementation and administration of
full flex cafeteria plans and oversees the Employee Benefit section
of Cybersure, ABD’s interactive web-based employee benefit and human
resource database.
Recently,
Liliana was appointed ABD’s Privacy officer to ensure our firm’s,
our business associates and clients compliance with HIPAA Privacy
and EDI Standards. Prior to joining ABD, Liliana worked in Columbia
as in-house counsel for Multinspec, Ltd. and Thomas Miller, Inc.
Americas.
