The South Bay Area Chapter of APA is founded on Education. We offer a variety of educational opportunities to help provide the skills needed to meet the ever changing Payroll World. Our goal is to provide education opportunities, so that our members have the knowledge to excel as Payroll Professionals in our community

Continuing Education

Our chapter strives to provide expert speakers with up-to-date topics. By attending our meetings you will stay informed on the latest payroll regulations and best practice techniques to keep you and your company in compliance. All meetings feature a topic that earns American Payroll Association Recertification Credit Hours (RCH)

American Payroll Association

The American Payroll Association hosts classes in the Santa Clara Area throughout the year. Be sure to visit their website at www.americanpayroll.org for the classes and dates. Members of the APA are offered the courses at a special discounted rate.

The American Payroll Association holds an Annual Congress every May in a different location across the US. APA Congress offers over 150 education workshops with over 1000 exhibitors in a vendor hall which gives you the opportunity to view new products and network with fellow Payroll Professionals. Don’t miss the next Congress in Washington, DC May 25 – 29. APA provides a wide variety of classes/ conferences. Don’t forget to attend the Fall Forum, Payroll Best Practices or the Capital Summit. California Payroll Conference

The South Bay Area Chapter is one of five chapters which join together and participate in the bi-annual Payroll Conference held in various Northern California cites. Three chapter members are currently serving on the board for the next conference being held in Santa Clara, California on October 21 – 22, 2010. We invite Payroll Professionals from all over the US to join us.
