In 2009 SBAC Members have:

Donated Food to Sunnyvale Community Services

Donated Toilets to Sunnyvale Community Services

Donated grocery bags for food to Sacred Heart Charities

Donated Backpacks and School Supplies to Family Giving Tree

Donated Reading Books to RAFT (Resource Area for Teachers)

Donated chemistry lab supplies to Santa Clara School District

Volunteered to sort backpacks at Family Giving Tree Warehouse

Sponsored a Fund Raiser at Round Table to benefit Family Giving Tree

SBAC also collects proceeds from 50/50 raffles at all of our chapter meetings and distributes to local non-profit organizations or agencies. In the past we have donated to Career Closet and Next Door Solutions.

This year we donated a total of $293 to Relay for Life, in honor of "Campers for a Cure". Campers for a Cure was a race team taking part in a local fund raiser for Cancer Research. We were honored to support a cause that has touched almost everyone in the chapter. With recent developments in research we now have more and more cures within our reach. We were especially proud of this donation as our Education Coordinator, Ori Reicks,is a team member and we helped her and the team work towards their fund raising goal.
